Filled with Love Card

Well, I am taking a break from working on my 50 swaps for Leadership meeting next week.  I am also doing a shoebox swap for Wednesday am so I need to do that too. So excited about Leadership being held in Nashville.  I also get to go to Managers Reception this year for the first time, cause I am a Manager now!!!

How cute is this Valentine card?  We made this one at my last upline meeting.  It uses the Filled with Love stamp set, new red glimmer paper and heart punches.  Enjoy!

12 Weeks of Christmas Crafting - Week 8

Check out this adorable easy card!  This is a swap I received from Elaine Wright.  Such a cute idea!

Here is your list of necessary products for creating this fabulous card.

Peaceful Season (level 2 hostess set #121124 clear, 120819 wood)
Cherry Cobbler ink #119788 $2.95 and paper #119685 $6.95 (24 sheets)
Brushed Gold paper #102935 $7.95 (10 sheets)
Very Vanilla paper #101650 $8.50 (40 sheets)
Gold Waffle Paper  #120984 $9.95 for 2 rolls
Real Red 1/4" ribbon #119251 $5.95 (10 yards)

After punching the Ornamnet punch in the Very Vanilla, mark its position on the brushed gold paper, place adhesive in the markings and add a small amount of batting.  Put adhesive around the batting and place square of waffle paper over it.  Add more adhesive on the back of Very Vanilla cardstock around the ornament opening to hold it down around the waffle paper.  Assemble your card.  To purchase your supplies go to http://www.janicejones.stampinup.net/ and click on shop now and enter the numbers above.  (You will need to place a $300 order to be eligible for the Peaceful Season hostess set.)

Have fun and see you next time!

12 Weeks of Christmas Crafting - Week 5

Well, I have to apologize.  I am late getting this post on my blog - so sorry!!  Okay last week's project is a little box made with the Big Shot. It is really easy and really cute!  Just use the Bitty Box & Envelope die (115967 $42.95) and run a piece of pink pirouette paper through it.  Once you have your little box just fold it along the score lines and then add a piece of the Candy Cane Christmas paper (120809 $11.95) which coordinates perfectly to the top of the box.  This piece needs to be 2 1/4" square.  Then punch out a real red piece using the wonderful XL Decorative Label punch (120907 $16.95).  Then stamp an ornament in baja breeze ink onto whisper white paper using the image from Tags Til Christmas stamp set (120847 wood mount/121169 clear mount $30.95/$22.95) then punch it out using the ornament punch (119847 $16.95).  Add a red glimmer brad in the middle of the punched ornament.  Layer your pieces on the top of the box and you have a great little gift box for Christmas in some untraditional Christmas colors.  Here is the picture of the project.  You can order the supplies for this project at my online store
