12 Weeks of Christmas Crafting - Week 5

Well, I have to apologize.  I am late getting this post on my blog - so sorry!!  Okay last week's project is a little box made with the Big Shot. It is really easy and really cute!  Just use the Bitty Box & Envelope die (115967 $42.95) and run a piece of pink pirouette paper through it.  Once you have your little box just fold it along the score lines and then add a piece of the Candy Cane Christmas paper (120809 $11.95) which coordinates perfectly to the top of the box.  This piece needs to be 2 1/4" square.  Then punch out a real red piece using the wonderful XL Decorative Label punch (120907 $16.95).  Then stamp an ornament in baja breeze ink onto whisper white paper using the image from Tags Til Christmas stamp set (120847 wood mount/121169 clear mount $30.95/$22.95) then punch it out using the ornament punch (119847 $16.95).  Add a red glimmer brad in the middle of the punched ornament.  Layer your pieces on the top of the box and you have a great little gift box for Christmas in some untraditional Christmas colors.  Here is the picture of the project.  You can order the supplies for this project at my online store

Absolutely Fabulous Thanksgiving Card

Ok, I know everyone likes different styles but I absolutely adore this Thanksgiving card.  It is so wonderful.  Again we are using the Day of Gratitude stamp set (121148) $18.95 (clear set) plus we use the coordinating paper Autumn Spice (120808) $11.95 but what I think really sets this one apart is that we use a vintage brad and the Victoria crochet trim (118481) $6.95.  Love it!!!!  Enjoy!

Hey - check out this Thanksgiving card that I made at our group retreat.  I like the simplicity of it and loved the sentiment.  The stamp set is Day of Gratitude (121148) $18.95 from the Holiday Mini.  I also used the new dotted scallop ribbon border punch (119275)  $15.95  and as you can see from the picture I am not so great with it!  LOL  Second time was better!  Practice makes perfect, right?   Have a great day!

12 Weeks of Christmas Crafting - Week 4

Hello everyone.  Here is a neat little candy holder for Christmas.  This is a cute gift for mail carriers, UPS guy, anyone that you might want to give a little something to at Christmas time.

Here are the supplies you need:

Window Sheets (114323) $4.95
Sticky Strip (104294) $6.95
Big Shot Candy Wrapper Die (120890) $32.95
Taffeta ribbon Marina Mist (119257) $5.95
Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Paper (120809) $11.95
Candy of your choice

Run your window sheet through the Big Shot and cut your die piece.  Cut a piece of  designer paper to 2" x 6".  You can score it at 1 1/4" and then 1 1/2" and repeat on the long side if you want to but it is not really necessary.  It conforms to the creases in the window sheet when you put it inside.  Put it inside with your candy and fold up your window sheet die cut piece. You will fold it along the creases and bunch up your ends.    I did add a little adhesive on the designer paper to keep it in place.  Adhere your window sheet together with sticky strip. Tie your ribbon on the ends and you have a cute little gift!  These are so easy you could make lots of them.  They would also be fun for Halloween treats or treats on the Thanksgiving table.  If you would like to purchase the supplies for this project go to my website online store

Back from Disney - Thanksgiving scrapbook pages

Hi everyone.  We are back from our very busy Disney vacation!  It was fun but very tiring.  We never really had any downtime.  Well, kiddos are back at school today and I am working on my scrappers club projects for tonight.  Here is a preview of the Thanksgiving pages we will be making tonight.  I am loving this designer paper from the Holiday Mini.  Here is your recipe:  Stamp set is Day of Gratitude (120835) $26.95 for wood mount and (121148) $18.95 for clear mount, Designer Series Paper is Autumn Spice (120808) $11.95, Extra large punch Decorative Label (120907) $16.95.  The cardstock is Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip and Vanilla.  I also use some Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon and linen thread.  Enjoy!

12 Weeks of Christmas Crafting - Week 3

Here is a really easy gift bag for Christmas.  This is so easy that you really have no excuse not to bag your small gifts in something adorable!!

It uses the Mini Lunch Sacks (121031),  the Candy Cane buttons (121718), Jolly Jingles jumbo wheel (120864), the Candy Cane Christmas specialty designer series paper (120809),  from the Holiday Mini Catalog, and some linen thread (104199) from the Idea Book & Catalog

All you do is leave your bag flat and wheel your sentiment at the bottom of the bag.  Then fold over the top and attach your little piece of designer paper, stamp your tag (from Tags Til Christmas (120847 wood mount) (121169 clear mount), in baja breeze ink (111833), then punch out with the 1 3/4" circle punch (119850) and attach it to your bag.  Tie your linen thread through thebutton and around your bag.  Now you have a really cute gift bag.  These are great for teacher gifts, neighbor gifts, just any little gift you are giving during the holiday.  You can order everything at my online store.  Have fun and I will catch you next week!
