Paisley Prints Thanksgiving Card
Hello everyone. Here is a card I got from a swap at the retreat in Alabama. It was made by Mary Robinson. It is a very good use of the stamp set Paisley Prints and the matching wheel, Paisley Party. It uses Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake, More Mustard, Early Expresso and Cajun Craze cardstock, some hemp twine and expresso ink. I am going to guess that she used versamark on her wheel because it will do the nice tone on tone that you see as the backgrounds. Cute, cute, cute! You can purchase everything you need to make this card at my online store

Spooky Bag
I thought this bag was such a good idea. Sometimes I like to give out bags of stuff for Halloween and this would be cute and lunch sacks are really inexpensive. This one was given to me in a swap in Mt Juliet, TN but I don't remember who gave it to me. It uses the Wicked Cool set (have you may have noticed is one of my favorites), the Spider Web embossing folder, big shot die Top Note, Medium Oval punch and the Extra Large Decorative Label punch. It also has a little ribbon made from the Deck the Halls Designer Fabric. All these items can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog except of course, the lunch sacks. Hope everyone has a great day!

12 Weeks of Christmas Crafting - Week 2
Hello again. Is everyone getting into the Christmas spirit? Yes, I am in Disney with my family and we are having a blast but I didn't want you to miss Week 2 so here is this adorable little gift container shared with us by our upline, Phyllis Shepherd.

Here is what you will need for this project:
Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Paper (120809)
Baja Breeze Cardstock (105120)
Real Red Cardstock (102482)
Real Red Satin Ribbon (117286)
Candy Cane Buttons (121718)
Stampin' Store Containers (103649)
Flower, Daisies #2 Sizzix Die (Big Shot) (114520)
Sticky Strip (104294)
Mini Glue Dots (103683)
Linen Thread (104199)
2 1/2" circle punch (120906)
Scallop Square punch (119884)
Extra Large Tag punch (119866)
Tags Til Christmas Stamp Set ( 121169 clear) (120847 wood mount)
First you want to punch your designer paper pieces for the inside. You will need 2 2 1/2"circles. Attach your sticky strip to the inside of the bottom and top and then to the top outside. Then you want to put a strip around the outside of your base. You will need to use your solid cardstock and run it through the Big Shot twice with each color and then arrange them on the top of the container using glue dots. Put your ribbon through your button and attach it with glue dots. Punch your tag in real red and then stamp your sentiment in baja breeze and punch out with the scallop square. Put the square on the tag and tie it on underneath the flower with linen thread. You will need to use the ribbon to go around the outside of the container. You will just trim it when you get all the way around. The sticky strip holds it very securely. Fill it with your choice of candy or treats and give it to whomever you choose.
Happy gift giving. Let me know if I can be of any assistance. If you want to purchase the items for this project go to my online store and use the item numbers listed above.

Another Wicked Cool Halloween Card
Just love this card I got at the swap at retreat in Alabama but unfortunately the creator's name is not on the back so I can't give her credit. It is using the Wicked Cool set and I love the way she used the hat at the top with the glitter brad and lace! It also has glitter on the web stamp image. It used white, certainly celery, rich razzleberry and black cardstock. Go to my online store to purchase your supplies and have fun!

12 Weeks of Christmas Crafting - Week 1
Hello everyone. I hope you are having a great Friday. This is Week 1 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas Crafting. I love this project. It is one I did at retreat on September 25 so not hard at all!. It is Christmas Pillowcases using our beautiful new fabrics. I'm thinking of making some of these for Christmas gifts this year.
What you will need for this project is as follows:
Pillowcase of your choosing
A hot iron
1/8" taffeta ribbon in real red (119251) $5.95
Candy Cane Big Designer Buttons (121718) $8.98
Candy Cane Christmas Designer Fabric (121715) $9.95
Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439) $99.95
Extended Cutting Pads (113478) $19.95
Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die (120893) $42.95
Big Shot Fabric Adhesive Roll (122194) $14.95
1. Simply iron the adhesive onto your fabric.
2. Die cut the fabric using the Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim die. To make longer strips, fold the fabric in half before cutting. Notice the bottom trim piece is actually the in-between on the die. I like the shape!
3. Then peel the transfer sheet off and iron the fabric onto the pillowcase. I did use straight pins to line up my trims before ironing them.
4. I wanted to give it a little extra so on one side of the pillowcase I ran the taffeta ribbon through the buttons and tied a bow and then sewed them on the pillowcase in my designed position.
It is a very easy project and I saw so many cute ideas using this method. Other people at the retreat were decorating tote bags, aprons, tshirts and most anything else you can imagine. Let your creativity go wild. Have fun and let me know if you need my help or have questions.
